Our Coronavirus response.

Nobody could have foreseen the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic, which has undoubtedly affected every person on the planet in some way.

In lettings have always been fully mobile, working from home or hotdesking as necessary, so we're fortunate in that the way we operate has not been as profoundly affected as it could have been due to the the spread of Covid-19.

We continue to do our utmost to minimise any disruption to our services, however the health and wellbeing of our tenants, landlords, colleagues and contractors remains our top priority.

We have put in place a number of measures to ensure that we can continue to operate safely and in line with government guidelines.

Property maintenance

As usual, please inform us at your soonest opportunity if you encounter any maintenance issues in your property. Our maintenance team will continue to service and repair any urgent issues you may encounter. Non emergency issues may be postponed until a later date.

Our contractors will adhere to social distancing guidelines and will wear personal protective equipment where possible whilst working in or around your property.

Your rent

We completely understand that the Coronavirus pandemic is an unforseeable crisis which has affected us all in some way, and that some people may have difficulties keeping up with rent payments due to reduced income during this difficult time.

We encourage all tenants who are facing financial difficulty due to Covid-19 to get in touch to discuss their options. We can often be flexible in terms of when rent can be paid and in most cases can offer some form of payment plan to suit your situation, should you be struggling to meet your rent payment obligations. We will always adhere to government guidelines, and each tentants' case will be individually assessed.

Government guideance regarding renters, landlords and Covid-19 can be found here.

We urge everybody to check if they are eligible for any of the extensive financial support packages the government have made available in light of the Coronavirus outbreak. Some useful financial advice relating to Covid-19 can be found from the Money Advice Service here.

Property viewings

We have recently resumed physical viewings of our properties, however are taking all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of our colleagues and our clients. We will bring along plenty of disposable facemasks should you need one, and will ensure that everyone sanitises their hands prior to entering a property. Our agents will wear facemasks at all times during viewings.

We must always give current occupants of our properties at least 24 hours notice prior to arranging a viewing at their property, and are happy to arrange a time which suits them where possible.

If you cannot be physically present for a viewing, for most of our properties we can offer a virtual viewing via a video call, or a pre-recorded video for you to get a good feel of what the property is like.

We continue to monitor the situation closely, and will post any relevant updates to this page, and to our social media accounts as and when they happen.

Stay safe out there!
